Key Scripture: Psalm 46:9–10 (KJV)

“He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. Be still, and know that I am God…”

TODAY’S BURDEN — LET THE NATIONS FIND PEACE

The world continues to face serious challenges that call for prayer, wisdom, compassion and courageous leadership. Reports published today describe renewed fears of conflict involving Iran and the wider Middle East, including threats to commercial shipping through the Strait of Hormuz. The World Health Organization has also warned that regional conflict is disrupting healthcare, displacing civilians and affecting the movement of essential medical supplies.

Today, CSIP stands in the gap for Asia, the Middle East and the nations of the world. We pray for peace where there is conflict, protection for the vulnerable, wisdom for leaders, strength for persecuted believers, healing for the sick and hope for those who have lost everything.

Our prayer is not for one nation at the expense of another, but for justice, peace, human dignity and the preservation of innocent lives across the world.

THANKSGIVING — GOD OF ALL NATIONS

Scripture: Psalm 100:4

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness to the nations. Thank You for every conflict prevented, every life rescued, every humanitarian worker strengthened and every effort toward peace. We thank You for those who continue to serve the sick, feed the hungry, shelter the displaced and comfort grieving families. Thank You that even in times of uncertainty, hope can rise and compassion can cross borders.

We acknowledge Your sovereignty over the earth and ask that the nations turn from hatred, violence and injustice toward wisdom, mercy and peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

CONSECRATION — MAKE US INSTRUMENTS OF PEACE

Scripture: Matthew 5:9

Lord, purify our hearts from hatred, prejudice, indifference and the desire for revenge. Forgive us for the times we have ignored the suffering of others or allowed political, ethnic and religious differences to silence our compassion.

Teach us to pray with sincerity, speak with wisdom and act with love. Let our intercession produce practical concern for those in need. Make us instruments of reconciliation, truth and peace in our families, communities, churches and nations. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  • Grant national leaders humility, restraint and discernment in decisions affecting millions.
  • Expose corruption, destructive ambitions and decisions that place innocent lives at risk.
  • Strengthen international mediation and cooperation for peace, security and economic stability.

5

DIVINE HELP IN NATURAL DISASTERS AND CLIMATE CRISES

  • Pray for communities threatened by Indonesian wildfires, drought, extreme weather and other disasters.
  • Strengthen emergency responders, healthcare workers and families who have lost homes or livelihoods.

  • Let the Gospel advance with wisdom, compassion and courage among all peoples.
  • Pray for religious freedom, reconciliation between communities and an end to hatred.
  • Raise a generation committed to truth, service, justice and the well-being of humanity.

5. HOLY GHOST TIME — PRAY WITH URGENCY

Pause after each point and pray earnestly in the Spirit.

  1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to restrain violence and open doors for peace negotiations.
  2. Intercede for children, families, the injured, the grieving and all innocent people trapped in conflict.
  3. Pray for Christians and other religious minorities facing persecution, intimidation or exclusion.
  4. Ask God to strengthen humanitarian workers and provide resources for underserved communities.
  5. Pray for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit, producing repentance, compassion, reconciliation and courageous service across the nations.

Prayer cry: Lord, let Your peace enter places where fear reigns, let Your light shine where darkness prevails, and let Your mercy reach those the world has forgotten!

6. DECLARATIONS OF FAITH

Together, let us declare:

  1. We declare that violence will not have the final word; we will continue to pray and work for peace.
  2. We declare protection, strength and comfort over innocent people affected by conflict and persecution.
  3. We declare that humanitarian assistance will reach vulnerable families and that the needs of the forgotten will not be ignored.
  4. We declare wisdom, restraint and accountability over world leaders and decision-makers.
  5. We declare healing and restoration for communities devastated by war and disaster.
  6. We declare that the Church will rise in prayer, compassion, unity and faithful service.
  7. We declare that the knowledge of the glory of the Lord shall fill the earth as the waters cover the sea.

7. GLORIFICATION — TO GOD BE THE GLORY

Scripture: Revelation 7:9–10

Almighty God, we give You all glory, honour and praise. You are Lord over every nation, every border and every people. We commit the nations of Asia, the Middle East and the entire world into Your hands.

Let peace prevail over war, compassion overcome hatred, justice overcome oppression, and hope arise where despair has taken root. Strengthen Your people to be faithful witnesses of Your love. May our prayers bear fruit in practical service, reconciliation and the preservation of human life.

May the nations seek righteousness, leaders pursue peace, and communities learn to live together in dignity and mutual respect.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
